We want you to feel good about your subscription. This page describes how cancellations and refunds work for the Where in Time Pro tier.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time, with no questions asked, via the Customer Portal linked from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until that period ends, and you are not charged again after that.
You do not need to email support to cancel. The portal does it in two clicks.
If you are a new subscriber and you change your mind within 14 days of your first charge, email support@whereintime.ai and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked. The 14-day window starts on the date of your first successful charge.
How to request: email support@whereintime.ai from the address on your account, with subject "Refund". We confirm and process within 3 business days. Refunds appear on your card statement within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Outside the 14-day window, we do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period. If you cancel mid-month or mid-year, you keep Pro access until the period ends. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
If your renewal payment fails, Stripe automatically retries on a smart schedule (up to 8 attempts over 2 weeks). During this period your Pro access continues for a 3-day grace window past the original period end. If all retries fail, your subscription is canceled and access reverts to the free tier — no charge, no further action needed from you. You can resubscribe at any time.
We don't issue refunds for short outages or temporary service issues. If the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period (24+ continuous hours) and you contact us, we will credit your account proportionally at our discretion.
If you see a charge from "WHEREINTIME" or "STRIPE *WHEREINTIME" on your statement that you don't recognize, please email us first before disputing with your bank. Most "unrecognized" charges turn out to be a forgotten subscription, a family member, or a card on file we can identify. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account termination per our Terms of Service.
